About Elderwood of Riverside
Elderwood Riverside offers Respite Care in addition to Long Term Care and Skilled Nursing. Our trained professionals and registered nurses are educated in providing 24/7 care to ensure residents are comfortable at all times. We promote independence and dignity within a close-knit community with a Person Centered Care model to also emphasize open communication and relationships with patients and family. We pride ourselves with innovative subacute services and equipment. This includes advanced vital sign monitoring and strength-training machines, iPads for point-of-service coordination of care, and electronic medical data to provide residents with their data in real time. The community here at Elderwood Riverside consists of 57 residents. Our mission is to create a home-like atmosphere for residents to thoroughly enjoy their stay with us. We are able to meet this objective by proactively creating activities designed around each resident’s interests and pursuits. More than just specialty care, our geriatric-centered staff here at Elderwood Riverside provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
Centrally located in Riverside, RI Elderwood of Riverside is a short trip to Butler Hospital, The Miriam Hospital, and Comprehensive Cancer Center.
