At Hillside Heights Rehabilitation Suites, we are dedicated to providing quality nursing services in a warm and friendly environment. Whether you are recovering post-surgery or undergoing rehabilitative therapy, our qualified team of healthcare providers will meet your unique needs. We aim to maximize clinical outcomes while supporting the holistic well-being of our patients.
Our comprehensive facility offers skilled nursing services in all areas of rehabilitation, from short-term transitional stays to long-term hospice and respite care. We are located in Amarillo, in close proximity to some the nation’s most well-regarded healthcare facilities.
The rehabilitation wing is newly renovated with a fully equipped 3,000 square foot rehabilitation gym. Therapy continues out-of-doors in our mobility garden/terrain park. The common areas include beautifully decorated family lounges with a cozy fireplace. Our carpeted private suites feature half baths and in-room dining services.
The goal of the rehabilitation program is to maximize each individual’s independence and successful recovery. We work with highly skilled clinicians that conduct individualized therapy programs in our well-equipped therapy center. Our services include communication and cognitive therapy, memory and dysphasia care, orthotic training and fitting, pain management, life skills restoration, and more. We partner with expert certified physicians to provide quality wound care and ostomy services. We also offer a Pulmonary Medical Specialty unit with expertise in a wide range of pulmonary conditions.
We believe that a flavorful, nutritious dining experience is essential to the holistic well-being of our residents. Our restaurant-style table service features rotating menu options suiting any dietary needs. Residents are encouraged to participate in recreational activities within our facility and in off-site excursions. Our recreation therapy department is passionate about providing patients with adaptable therapeutic activities to promote a healthy mind, body, and spirit.
