About Willow Bend Nursing and Rehabilitation
Willow Bend Nursing and Rehabilitation provides exceptional care and service to our residents. The dedicated staff works together with the patient, their family, and their doctor to create and implement the best possible care plan. We use innovative, cutting-edge programs partnered with proven methods to aid recovery. The therapy team looks forward to noticeable progress with every patient in each treatment session.
Our therapy staff is truly the heart of our facility. The residents here enjoy seeing the same faces every day and we work with residents to find the best fit between patient and therapist. We feature a Home Health Program where the same therapists that treated a patient at Willow Bend can work with the patient in their home after discharge for continuity of care. The team consists of physical therapists (PT), physical therapy assistants (PTA), occupational therapists (OT), certified occupational therapy assistants (COTA), a speech and language pathologist (SLP), and a rehab aide/technician. Our teams works together based on the individual needs of each patient.
Wound care is one of our foremost specialties. We consult with one of the top wound doctors in the Dallas area to promote healing after injuries and surgeries so our patients can have the best possible outcomes.
In addition, we have therapists certified in specialty areas of practice such as:

- Electrical Stimulation For Swallowing Dysfunction
- Lymphedema
- Pulmonary Programs

There is always something to fun to do here at Willow Bend. When residents arrive the Activities Department will discuss their interests, hobbies, and activity level to develop a personalized program. Trips outside the facility are also regularly scheduled. Many local artists and musicians enjoy visiting the facility and sharing their passion with our residents.
